Assessment Planning & Budgeting We take the time to learn from our clients what makes their individual business tick and how technology is currently being used. We discuss possible scenarios to improve their operations going forward. We then develop a goals document and budgeting document with our client to give them an IT blueprint for their future success. Procurement Network Checker is a Dell Premier partner. This allows us to sell all of Dell's product line for a price lower than going to Dell directly. We can always meet or beat the price you would get by ordering directly from Dell and we can advise you to ensure your specified hardware meets your upcoming needs. Configuration & Deployment We employ a bench tech to keep costs down for initial configuration of workstations. Recovery from hardware failure using imaging software is planned prior to initial deployment so that we keep our clients in a bulletproof situation. Servers are configured tested and imaged in our shop prior to their introduction into our clients’ production environment. Management We provide a discount to our clients for prescheduled recurring hours. We use these hours to keep our clients hardware and software up to date, to monitor and manage activity on the network and to ensure backups are working properly. We archive our clients’ data on a monthly basis and test restoration procedures regularly to ensure data will be recoverable in the event of a disaster. Organization and Documentation We create manuals for our clients to document all facets of their IT infrastructure. We create individual manuals for each new workstation containing copies of all disks that were delivered with the machine. Original disks are organized and filed in locked cabinets to eliminate loss or misplacement of critical media. A software-licensing manual is created to keep information on expensive licensing in a single location. Education Dedication to education is a core belief at Network Checker. All of our Network Administrators are required to stay current and to pass tests administered by Microsoft and Cisco. We pay our staff to study and our clients are able to reap the benefit without the cost.
